For years i have wanted to visit these sculptures and since i was in Edinburgh for a few days we were able to drive over to them. They are free to visit but there is a charge for the car park. The sculptures are 100ft high monuments designed by artist Andy Scott and pay tribute to the horses that used to pull the barges, wagons, ploughs and coal ships. They are modelled on two Clydesdale horses named Duke and Baron. For a small charge, you can book a tour and venture inside the sculptures. There is also a cafe, visitor gift shop and toilet facilities.
